My name is Brian Bosse.  I live in southern Arizona, and have been married to Meribeth for almost twenty-five years.  We have four children, one son-in-law, a black lab and a slew of cats.  My interests are in Theology, Philosophy and Logic.  I believe our ability to think critically is a grace given by God to understand His revelation and to navigate the waters of secular thought antithetical to the Christian worldview (Colossians 2:8).  We are not to be conformed to this world, but rather transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2).  That is to say, we are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3).  However, none of this is done independent of the heart.  The saving knowledge of the things of God is a knowledge that comes to us by the Holy Spirit.  He not only enables us to perceive and affirm factual truth, but He enables us to apprehend and embrace the spiritual beauty behind this truth.  A knowledge of God apart from the appropraite heart felt affections for God – an embracing, delight and satisfaction in all that God is for us in Christ – is not a true saving knowledge.
