When satire becomes reality

These are hard times for a struggling young satirist. I recently wrote a fake news piece on Amish fashions. And now a friend has shown me an article in the Lancaster Intelligencer-Journal describing an "Amish-inspired trend in clothing by such designers as Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Donna Karan, Yohji Yamamoto, Carolina Herrera and Calvin Klein." I kid you not. No, really.
